Every server has its own Market, the seller pays a 12% cut, and the same item can cost very different amounts from one server to the next (for the typical item, the dear end of the servers asks 4.3× the cheap end). Here is how to buy low and sell well, with numbers from all 106 servers.
How the Market works
- One Market per server. Elyos and Asmodian servers each have their own board, so prices and supply are local. Every server.
- You buy the lowest ask. Listings sell cheapest first, which is why the price everyone quotes is the lowest ask. Live lowest asks on your server.
- The seller pays 12%. List something for 100,000 Kinah and you receive 88,000 when it sells. To clear a target of 100,000, list at 113,637.
- Asks are not sales. A high ask that nobody pays is not a price. Check how many are listed: a thin market moves fast.

Prices differ a lot between servers
Across 588 items with 3+ listings on 20+ servers, the dear end of the servers (the 90th percentile) asks a median 4.3× the cheap end (the 10th). One odd listing can't move these. Some of the biggest gaps today:

Selling well
